Meet Our Team of Volunteers

Chuck's Way is made up of caring volunteers

A small group of volunteers lead Chuck's Way and meet once or twice a year to plan for our winter months outreach. Members mostly live in Pittsburgh, with others in Colorado, Northwestern PA, and NYC. Many volunteer with domestic violence shelters, food pantries, or other community nonprofits. All have a commitment to assisting their unhoused neighbors.

Robert
Robert a founding member and coordinator of Chuck's Way. He currently attends Union Theological Seminary in NYC pursuing a Master of Divinity degree with a focus on interreligious ministry and spiritual care and counseling.

He previously worked at a Pittsburgh based social service as the lead resource navigator, where he assisted over 1,500 families in individuals learn about and connect with resources for housing instability, food pantries, immigration and refugee services, job programs and more.

This work deepened his understanding of the systemic challenges that working class people face every day. He also saw firsthand the affordable housing and homelessness crisis in the United States.
